I’m sure that many people would dismiss Secrets of the Millionaire Mind as useless. There’s not a lot of concrete information here about how to improve the details of your financial life. (Though the scant advice presented is sound). Instead, this book encourages readers to adopt mental attitudes that facilitate wealth. It’s about changing your psychological approach to money, success, and happiness.

Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth 

Eker believes that we each possess a “financial blueprint”, an internal script that dictates how we relate to money. This blueprint is created through lifelong exposure to money messages from friends, current events, entertainment programs, and, especially, our family. Unfortunately, our blueprints usually contain errors that prevent us from achieving our dreams.

Eker lists seventeen ways in which the financial blueprints of the rich differ from those of the poor and the middle-class.

1. Rich people believe: “I create my life.” Poor people believe: “Life happens to me.” (This is HUGE. Every successful person I know is control of her life. Unhappy people are constantly complaining to me how this, that, or the other thing prevents them from doing something.)
2. Rich people play the money game to win. Poor people play the money game to not lose.
3. Rich people are committed to being rich. Poor people want to be rich.
4. Rich people think big. Poor people think small.
5. Rich people focus on opportunities. Poor people focus on obstacles.
6. Rich people admire other rich and successful people. Poor people resent rich and successful people. (This is important, too — it seems to hold true among my friends.)
7. Rich people associate with positive, successful people. Poor people associate with negative or unsuccessful people. (Another important one.)
8. Rich people are willing to promote themselves and their value. Poor people think negatively about selling and promotion.
9. Rich people are bigger than their problems. Poor people are smaller than their problems.
10. Rich people are excellent receivers. Poor people are poor receivers.
11. Rich people choose to get paid based on results. Poor people choose to get paid based on time.
12. Rich people think “both”. Poor people think “either/or”.
13. Rich people focus on their net worth. Poor people focus on their working income.
14. Rich people manage their money well. Poor people mismanage their money well.
15. Rich people have their money work hard for them. Poor people work hard for their money.
16. Rich people act in spite of fear. Poor people let fear stop them. (This is big for me right now. I’ve accomplished most of the goals I set for myself, and need to set some new ones. But I have this nagging fear, because I’m moving into the unknown. Eker says that successful people act in spite of this fear. They move beyond worry, they “fake it til they make it”, learning as they go. Unsuccessful people do nothing at all.)
17. Rich people constantly learn and grow. Poor people think they already know.

Some of this advice seems glib. In the book, however, Eker explains each point, demonstrating how the successful people discard limiting beliefs while the unsuccessful succumb to them.

 Eker’s book is of course about wealth, it’s actually about happiness and success. This is one of the books from which it’s important to extract the core lessons and to apply them to your life in ways that are appropriate. Don’t take everything at face value. Take the information and use it in ways that work for you. For me, for my place in life, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind was perfect. Eker’s seventeen lessons were exactly what I needed to hear right now.

This is an excellent book to borrow from a library. I listened to the audio version of this book (viaAudible), and highly recommend it in this form. Eker reads it himself in an almost too-enthusiastic style. Yet when you surrender to his eagerness, it works.

“Whatever Your Mind Can Conceive And Believe It Can Achieve”

Napoleon Hill is arguably best remembered for his famous book “Think and Grow Rich.” It was first published in 1937 during the Great Depression and it’s reported that by the time of his death in 1970 more than 20 million copies had been sold. For more historical information on the book refer to Wikipedia, Think and Grow Rich. As can be heard on the video, Napoleon Hill learned many things from famous billionaire Andrew Carnegie who shared a lot of his wisdom with Hill

The late Napoleon Hill said:

“Whatever your mind can conceive and believe the mind can achieve regardless of how many times you may have failed in the past.”

It’s one of the most famous inspirational quotes on the power of positive thinking. Below is the video where he spoke those exact words and it includes many of his insights on the power of positive thinking.

The reason I decided to write a post about this famous inspirational quote is that many people mistakenly believe that you just need to “think and grow rich” as per the title of his book. What they forget about, or are not aware of, is that Hill said: “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe the mind can achieve.”

Think And Grow Rich A Must Have For All Entrepreneurs

It’s not only about thinking, it’s about believing. And, this is where so many people get it wrong. If you don’t believe you can achieve something your negative thoughts will make sure you don’t achieve it. In fact, if you’re like the average person chances are you won’t even try something new if you think you won’t be successful.
                

In recent years the “Law of Attraction” has become a catch phrase in many households and new self help gurus have been popping up all over the place like wild mushrooms, telling people how they can get what they want if they can just visualize it and feel it. They often tell people not to worry about the size of the thing they want since size does not matter to the Universe… And, this is where they get it wrong. Size may not matter to the Universe but it matters to me and you!

I can spend the whole year trying to attract a new Ferrari but unless I believe that it’s possible I am not going to succeed. I may say positive affirmations to the effect that I already own the car. I may cut out pictures of the car and stick them on my wall. I may visualize how I am driving the car on the way to visit my girlfriend. I may experience feelings of joy and happiness when thinking about the car. I may tell myself that the car is already mine and I am just waiting for the Universe to deliver it. But, do I really believe it?

DO I REALLY BELIEVE IT?

You see, it’s often easy to believe something with your conscious mind. You want to believe it. But, unless you believe it with your unconscious mind as well, you are not really believing it. The problem is that in most cases we have no idea when our conscious mind and unconscious mind is not in tune with each other. The best way of knowing that they are not in tune is when we don’t get what we want.

Your conscious mind may want to think that you already own a Ferrari and that you are just waiting for the Universe to manifest the car, while your unconscious mind believes that you will never own a Ferrari and that you should rather focus on getting a good used Toyota Yaris. So, size matters to your unconscious mind!

The main thing that stands in your way of getting what your conscious mind wants is your limiting beliefs. And, unless you can address your limiting beliefs your unconscious mind will veto what your conscious mind would like to believe.

One good way of getting in touch with your limiting beliefs is to take a blank piece of paper and draw a line down the center of the page. On the left side of the page write down as many reasons as you can think why that Ferrari you want is already yours, and on the right side of the page write down as many reasons as possible why you won’t be driving that Ferrari any time soon. The reasons on the right side of the page are your limiting beliefs and unless you are able to address them you are going to find it very hard to manifest a new Ferrari.

Please note that limiting beliefs are, more often than not, not valid reasons why you can’t get what you want. We all have our own set of limiting beliefs and in most cases these limiting beliefs were transferred to us by our parents, our teachers and we have been carrying them with us for years without even knowing it.

Here is one of my own limiting beliefs that I got as a child from my father: “It is not for us.” He often use to say this when I remarked about the things other people have than we don’t have. Is it an absolute truth? No! But, only when I realized that I can also have a nice car and a huge house, and that I don’t have to settle for less because of who I am did I manage to dissolve this limiting belief that I carried with me from my early childhood.

As Napoleon Hill said, what your mind can conceive and believe it can achieve. Take note of your limiting beliefs and see them for what they are. Once you can overcome your limiting beliefs your conscious mind and your unconscious mind can be in tune and you can achieve that which you can conceive and believe

Du willst also wissen ob das Gesetz der Anziehung wirklich funktioniert,

“Gedanken sind Dinge” schrieb Napoleon Hill in seinem weltberühmten Buch “Denke nach und werde Reich” (“Think and Grow Rich”). Aber dennoch haben bis heute die wenigsten die Tiefgründigkeit dieser Aussage verstanden. Gerade für jemanden der mit dem Konzept der Manifestation nicht vertraut ist, hört sich dieses Statement geradezu absurd und komisch an. Für jemanden der sich mit dieser Materie schon ein wenig auseinandergesetzt hat ist es ein mächtiges Statement das das kostbarste Geheimnis des Lebens enthält.

Alles beginnt mit einem Gedanken. 

Die Wright Brüder hatten einen Gedanken, den Gedanken des Fliegens. Zuerst wurden sie ausgelacht, aber nach vielen Fehlversuchen wurden sie als die Pioniere der Luftfahrt gefeiert und wir profitieren davon noch heute. Donald Trump’s Ziel war Geld und reich sein. Diese Gedanken haben ihn mit den richtigen Leuten zusammengebracht, die richtigen Chancen eröffnet und zum Milliardär geführt! Bill Gates hatte eine Idee (Gedanke), einen Computer herzustellen, der einfach zu bedienen ist und für jedermann erschwinglich. Heute gehört er zu den reichsten Menschen der Welt. Diese Menschen und tausende andere verstehen eine Sache:

 Das Gesetz der Anziehung

Das Gesetz der Anziehung sagt aus, das gleichartige Sachen sich anziehen. Du kennst bestimmt den Spruch :”Gleich und gleich gesellt sich gern”. Wenn alles mit einem Gedanken, einer Idee beginnt, dann spielt das Gesetz der Anziehung eine Grosse Rolle diese Gedanken zu manifestieren und man kann folgendes sagen

Auf der Ebene des Denkens, sind “Dinge” nichts weiteres als Energie, die darauf wartet eingesetzt zu werden. Diese Gedanken, diese Ideen, sind so real wie Elektrizität. Wir können Elektrizität nicht sehen, aber wir alles wissen das sie existiert. Wir wissen auch das Gedanken real sind, denn alles was jemals erfunden wurde, alles um uns herum in unserer Welt, war zuerst ein Gedanke. Wenn man einen Gedanken nur lang genug halten kann, wird dieser Gedanke, diese Idee früher oder später in die physische Welt übertragen und nimmt Form an.

Wissenschaftler sagen, das das gesamte Universum aus Energie besteht.

 Energie hat eine Frequenz und die Gedanken sind Energie in einer primitiven Stufe. Die Energie deiner Gedanken strahlen eine Frequenz aus, genau wie z.B. Radio Antennen eine Frequenz ausstrahlen. Der Level dieser Gedankenfrequenz bestimmt die Art der physischen Manifestation und die Umstände, die wir haben; niedrige Gedanken Frequenzen korrespondieren mit niedriger phsyischer Expression, Dingen, Menschen und Umständen, die auch auf dieser Ebene denken.

Der Schlüssel ist, das alle Gedanken genauso real sind wie die Dinge um uns herum. Ich bin mir sicher das du 100% davon überzeugt bist, das die Erde rund ist, oder? Genauso musst du die Tatsache akzeptieren das Gedanken real sind und wenn man einen Gedanken nur lange genug halten kann, wird er sich in der Realität manifestieren. Das geschieht natürlich nicht von alleine, sondern nur durch Handeln, aber deine Gedanken sind real!

Also, was willst Du vom Leben? Wenn Du es denken und dir vorstellen kannst, kann es auch Realität werden! Finanzielle Freiheit, ein neues Auto, ein luxuriöser Lebensstil, Glück, eine tolle Beziehung – was auch immer du dir wünscht, nur die Art deiner Gedanken können dich begrenzen und zurückhalten.

Das Gesetz der Anziehung funktioniert.

Alles was du tun musst, ist auf deine Gedanken zu achten. Albert Einstein sagte: ”Your imagination is your preview of life’s coming attractions.” – “Deine Phantasie ist Dein Ausblick auf kommende Attraktionen des Lebens.”

The Law Of Attraction True Or Not True My Personal Opinion 

Hi, and thanks for taking the time reading this post.
I personally got interested in "law of attraction" some months ago.
I started promoting a company and one of my Mentors just talked about "the law of Attraction" during one of his Google Hangouts.

I start to read books like "Think, and grow rich" or "the secret of the Millionaire Mind" and honestly I was blown away. This is something nobody teaches us at schools or Universities and the most astounding thing to I find out was that these ideas of the law of attraction is not something from the last years but like the Napoleon Hill  book " think and grow rich" something from ages ago.

And do I really care finding out how the law of attraction works? No, I am not, but does this work? Yes, it really works, I suggest you start reading the bestseller from Napoleon Hill, Think and grow Rich.

Simple explained, the law of attraction is like "speaking to and asking the Universe" and to be honest , if you told me 6 months ago there is a Universe you can ask anything and you will get it, I would break out in loud laughter, it is the truth, and no I don t wear sandals and no I am not a earth healing guy or someone who talks to trees or believe in a life after death.



But the law of attraction is something completely different and when you start to read and watch video s about it one thing will be very clear, you will start asking yourself why is almost nobody talking  this, and why is no teacher teaching pupils and students about this??

I start to realize that going to work is something our parents "told" us when we where still youngsters,: Go to school, study" and after school "go and find yourself a job" and after that " buy a house, buy a car" we all went through that. Are our parents to blame? Of course not, because they didn t know there was "a law of attraction thing" because nobody even told them.

And yes I quit my job, called the 8 hour workday madness, because I only live once and yes I want to see places I ve never been before and yes I want to meet lots of  "Like minded people" from all over the world and yes I deserve to be rich and yes I deserve a better live and yes I deserve to decide by my own when to work and how long I want to work and from where I want to work, I deserve this and yes you deserve this too!

The second thing I did after quitting my 8 hour workday madness called job, was looking for something suited perfectly to my new lifestyle, or in other words, way of live and way of new thinking.
I suddenly watched a video of people somewhere in the USA getting up on stage at an event. This was the real eyeopener for me.

And I start researching this company, their ideas, their products, their compensation plans but most of all the thoughts behind this company which I prefer to call " The People s Company".
Who are the leaders, where do they come from, their background and foremost why are so many people making realistic money with this company alone but mostly in teams.
I watched an other video of a woman who struggled most of her life, living for 35 years in the same apartment in the Bronx.
She started with this company not long ago and besides she is making a six figure monthly income now her life is also changed at a spiritual level, so it is not all about the money, although it is something we all need.
